Become a WSGN Certified Breeder!

We are currently looking for people of high moral and ethical fiber that want to become a part of the WSGN Breeder Network.  An application will be posted soon, and in the meantime, read up on some of the requirements.

 

Below are some forms that may help you set up your breeding facility!

Before you breed: 

  • State Regulatory Agencies - a listing with all state agencies, including illegal states, as some of these will allow you to own them, providing a SPECIAL (and usually, expensive) educational permit.
  • USDA Contact Information - Link to USDA APHIS website for licensing information.

What you need:

  • Marsupial bottles/nipples:  Perfect for orphaned joeys and supplemental feeding.
  • Client Questionnaire - some questions to help you decide if someone is ready for a sugar glider.
  • Joey Information Sheet - tracks births, parents, enrichment, weight, owner training and go home supplies
  • Joey Birth Announcements - printable, hangable birth announcements for cages.  Simply print, clip, put a hole in it and hang on cage with a paper clip.  Male and Female.

For your clients:

  • Owner Training Sheet Cages - questions for perspective owners, specific directions to clean cages with tray.
  • Shopping List - this is a printable shopping list, including first time owners' buying guides-from cage to vitamins to food!
